SCHUYLER ERLE has been a Free Software developer and evangelist for over fifteen years. He co-authored Mapping Hacks (2005) and Google Maps Hacks. He was co-founder of the OpenLayers and TileCache projects, and is a charter member of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation. He helped found the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT), and serves on its Board of Directors. He lives in San Francisco, U.S.A.
SHEKHAR KRISHNAN is a social scientist and technologist. He is completing his doctoral research on the historical geography of colonial Bombay City in the Program in Science, Technology & Society (STS) at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Cambridge, MA, U.S.A. He was a founder coordinator of PUKAR (Partners for Urban Knowledge Action & Research), Mumbai (2000-3), and was project evangelist for Zotero at the Centre for History & New Media (CHNM), George Mason University (2007-8). He is based in Mumbai, India.
TIM WATERS is a long-time developer and contributor to OpenStreetMap. He created the open source map geo-rectifier application, MapWarper. He has worked for GeoIQ, ESRI as a crime mapper with a metropolitan council and freelance developer working on mapping culturally important spaces on a Native American reservation in Montana. He is a member of the Leeds Psychogeography Group, and is based in Leeds, U.K.
